the power of human emotion

The Scientist, who I miss working for so dearly, has commissioned me to do some paintings for their upcoming issue on stemcells. I have not done too much actual painting in a while (everything has been computer-generated lately), so it felt pretty good to get all loose and messy. These were done with acrylic house paint and wax pencil on paper. I think they look best when they are tightly cropped and up-close. I like the abstractness and painterly texture.

I'm not sure if this is nerdy or geeky or dweebie...
