Bush Mashups

These are great. I urge you to check out The party party and their hilarious mashups of Bush's speeches.

(Thanks 3 hive.)

I also like Fuzzy Math from The Bots. (look out, it's really loud!)

Christo's Gates

So, I'm moving to New Mexico in less than a month now. Unfortunately, this means I will no longer be able to run off to NYC when the mood strikes, which is sad, because wandering around Central Park never fails to makes me happy. I took one last trip there last weekend and stayed with my friend Jesse and her tiny dog Siri. We caught the closing day of Christo's Gates (600 people were needed to install the work, which was only up for 16 days). There seems to be infinite amounts of these photos already on the web, but I can't resist posting a few of my own.

For those of you who somehow missed this buzz: Christo and Jeanne-Claude errected 7,500 orange "gates" throughout Central Park. These gates strattle the paths, and everyone walkes through them, the orange material waving in the breeze above their heads. For a good portion of the day, there were so many people walking through the gates, I felt exactly like I was in line at some amusment park, only, the line was the ride.
